GTS 2026

Hydrogen combustion technologies are crucial for achieving CO2-free gas turbines and aero engines. At the Gas Turbine Symposium 2026 (GTS 2026), taking place from August 26–28 at Sono Calm in Yeosu, Korea, our partner UIT Inc. will deliver a presentation on behalf of B&B-AGEMA dedicated to this vital topic.

The presentation, titled "Micro-Mix Hydrogen Combustors: From Industrial Gas Turbines to Aero Engines" will provide a comprehensive overview of the working principles of Micro-Mix combustors. Additionally, it will address the complex CFD and combustion simulation challenges encountered during research and development for real-world engine applications."

ISAIF 16, Prague

From September 15th to 18th, B&B-AGEMA will participate in the 16th edition of The International Symposium on Experimental and Computational Aerothermodynamics of Internal Flows   in Prague, Czech Republic. We will inform about the collaborative developement(with Kawasaki Heavy Industries of an infrared borescope for real-time assessment of film-cooling performance on the shroud platform of a first stage gas turbine guide vane. 26th Conference of the International Society for Air Breathing Engines (ISABE) – Toulouse, France – 22.09 – 27.09.2024

For the Blue Condor project, a research initiative on contrail formation led by Airbus Operations France SAS, B&B-AGEMA developed a turbojet engine combustion chamber capable of 100% hydrogen combustion. The project results including the first Blue Condor flight tests were presented in a paper at this year’s ISABE conference in Toulouse.
